The marketplace

The Vintage Shop operates FOUND., an online marketplace where approved independent sellers offer vintage goods and approved partners may offer clearly labeled vintage-inspired goods. Unless a listing says that FOUND. is the seller, the independent shop named on the listing is responsible for the item, its description, fulfillment, and seller-specific policies.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to open a seller account or place an order.

Accounts and acceptable use

Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials, and tell us promptly about unauthorized account activity. You may not interfere with the service, scrape it in a way that burdens the site, evade safety controls, or use the marketplace for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive activity.

Listings and authenticity

Sellers must have the legal right to sell every item and must accurately disclose maker, age, condition, measurements, repairs, reproductions, and material flaws. New or made-to-order goods must be labeled vintage-inspired and may not be represented as authentic vintage.

• Counterfeit, stolen, recalled, unsafe, or unlawfully imported goods are prohibited.
• Copyrighted names, logos, photographs, and artwork may be used only with permission or another lawful basis.
• FOUND. may review, reject, hide, or remove listings and may request evidence of authenticity or supply authorization.

Orders, pricing, and payment

Prices, availability, shipping, and applicable taxes are shown before payment. An order is not accepted until payment is authorized and the item is confirmed available. We may cancel and refund an order affected by a pricing error, duplicate sale, suspected fraud, legal restriction, or unavailable inventory.

Payments and seller payouts are processed by Stripe and are also subject to Stripe's applicable terms. FOUND. currently charges sellers a 12% marketplace commission on completed merchandise sales, unless a separate written seller agreement states otherwise.

Shipping, returns, and disputes

The listing identifies whether an item is shipped by an independent seller or an approved fulfillment partner. Delivery dates are estimates. Sellers must provide accurate dispatch expectations and tracked shipping when required. Returns, damaged goods, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy, the listing's disclosed terms, and any non-waivable consumer rights.

AI-assisted shopping

Products may be discoverable through approved AI shopping experiences. Agents rely on catalog feeds that can change, so the current price, availability, seller, fulfillment method, and policies presented at checkout control. An outside agent does not speak for FOUND. unless we expressly say otherwise.

Service availability and responsibility

We work to keep the marketplace accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every seller statement is error-free. To the extent permitted by law, FOUND. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.

We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect buyers, sellers, the marketplace, or the public. We may update these terms prospectively by posting a revised date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
